Meet Scott Sapphire—lover of French champagne, Belgian chocolate and dangerous men. He is suave. He is sexy. He is a man of the world—and a man that the world desperately wants to catch. For Scott Sapphire is the greatest jewel thief of our time. Dashing. Daring. And always neck-deep in trouble. But when Scott’s latest heist lands him in possession of a map to a rare and precious orchid, it’ll take more than bedroom eyes and a charming smile to stay one step ahead of one of the world’s most powerful business tycoons, as well as keep the CIA off Scott’s back and a handsome special agent out of his pants—or maybe not. From the Venice canals to the rainforest, from Rio de Janeiro to the casinos of Monte Carlo, comes a brand new gay hero as irresistible as diamonds and pearls.
Scott Sapphire and the Emerald Orchid Geoffrey Knight Books
Well maybe that's stretching it a bit, but you get the idea.Geoffrey Knight has taken the same formula - fast-paced action, hot gay sex, exotic locations - from his Fathom's Five adventures and applied it to his new hero, Scott Sapphire. Whereas, with Fathom's Five your attention was split between multiple heroes in a sexy team, here he creates a singular, confident sexy hero that carries the narrative alone - well sort of. Together with his somewhat mentor/friend and his physically-challenged 'sister' he races around these exotic locations at break-neck speed, pursued by international villains and the CIA.
The characters are well crafted and enjoyable - Scott's 'sister', Sophie, is in no way a victim nor allows her physical handicap to hold her back and this relationship adds depth to what could have been a pretty one-dimensional character. Hopefully we see more of her in future instalments. The main love interest, Tom, is not really given enough to gain the reader's emotional buy-in but hopefully that will come in the follow-up, yet to be released.
Overall well worth reading.

Scott Sapphire and the Emerald Orchid Geoffrey Knight Books Reviews
I enjoyed this book immensely. Great story, great sex and the start of a relationship. I'm just sad I haven't seen a sequel to this one. One thing I don't like is to start a book that leaves the ending with more to come and I haven't seen the next one mentioned to even be written. If I am wrong about this, please, someone let me know.
I love Geoffrey Knights writing...James Bond style adventure with a touch of naughtiness. In this book our adventure is lead by a thief and a CIA agent, very steamy, funny and exciting.
Hot men, jewels, chocolate and champagne…how can you go wrong?
This book is a romp from start to finish, unashamedly borrowing from classic adventure films, not to mention James Bond. I enjoyed the cinematic style of writing and the incorporation of old gimmicks like quicksand, the femme fatale, the classic McGuffin and the serial cliffhanger ending.
What a great story Geoffrey weaves from Paris to the ! This is a great start to adventures with characters who you can care about; characters who have a history and a future! I can't wait for the next adventure!

Growing up on the streets was hard but it showed a young Scott just what he needed to do to survive. Now, as an adult, he uses the skills he’s perfected to pull off heists no one else would dare. His latest and greatest find, however, will lead him into the where more than treasure is waiting to be found. With the stakes higher than ever, Scott’s most recent acquisition may end up being his last.
This was one of those books that packed quite a bit into it. Scott kind of reminded me of a cross between Indiana Jones and Robin Hood with maybe a slight dash of Tomb Raider thrown in for kicks. Overall he was a fun character but I didn’t get a ton of depth to him, even when getting to see bits and pieces of his childhood. The story itself was fairly fast paced and covered more than one heist though the emerald orchid took up the greater portion of the book. Honestly, its kind of difficult finding a lot to say about this one. Did I enjoy it? Yes, for the most part. I can’t even tell you why I didn’t like it more because I’m not entirely sure myself. The character development wasn’t what it could’ve been and sadly, the best part of the book for me was the very beginning and that features a character from another Geoffrey Knight series that you don’t see again in this one past the introduction. It was a fun little read that left off with you wanting to read the second one just so you know things work out okay but I’m not really jumping at the bit to pick that one up when it becomes available.
I enjoyed this first book in a new series. I've enjoyed other books by the author and I am looking forward to the next installment.
if you like your books sexy with lots of adventure this book is one for you. this one will keep ypu on the edge of your seat. i loved this book. hope more books come out about scott sapphire. the new gay james bond.
